Springfield Contemporary Theatre's monthly "Sunday Songbook" series, which is usually scheduled on the second Sunday evening during each of the company's mainstage productions, presents members of the area theatre community in intimate concert performances in a wide variety of musical styles.

Conservatory of the Ozarks offers individualized fine arts instruction and music lessons from degreed and experienced faculty, for students of all ages and all levels of experience (including no experience).  The Conservatory is accepting entries for their annual Summer Talent Show, to take place Saturday August 2nd from 5:00 to 10:00 pm at the Chesterfield Village Fountain behind Garbo’s Pizzeria, 2101 W. Chesterfield Blvd.

RANDY: David Lowe graduated from Joplin High School (then called Parkwood) in 1976, and spent two years at Pittsburg State University before moving to New York to attend the Juilliard School of Music.  He's been a tenor in the Metropolitan Opera Chorus for the past 13 years.
