At an event Monday head coach Casey Woods spoke to the Springfield and Missouri State community. He outlined his recruitment plans and a goal of winning Conference USA.

This will be Casey Woods' first head coaching job.

Beard will not be able to lead the Bears in their bowl game on December 18.

The university and some elected officials had urged NCAA officials to grant the team eligibility.

After 35 years in the Missouri Valley Conference, Missouri State announced its move to CUSA in May.

Missouri State will move to Conference USA in July of 2025.

We brought in Paul Bohlin, sports editor for the Missouri State University Standard, to tell us how the Bears have turned things around and what to expect now.
