History Museum on the Square

The History Museum on the Square will keep three carpet squares, left over from the Springfield-Branson National Airport's old flooring, in its permanent collection.

Scholarship funds have been established to help pay for field trips.

The Traveling Exploration Trunk program at the History Museum on the Square is used in the classroom by Springfield area educators.

Walking/bus tours are available through November 1 and take participants to historic downtown Springfield buildings.

This comes via a partnership with Great Southern Bank, which goes through June 30 of next year.

The series is hosted by the History Museum on the Square.

The NaviLens system was installed last week.
