CU has created a large load taskforce and review process to address future developments. They are also working on a potential special rate for data center customers.

Ozark P&Z met Monday. They considered amendments adding data center guidelines to city codes and a new Finley River Neighborhood District Plan that includes a site for a new city police department headquarters.

Joplin's city council narrowly approved new data center regulations at their Monday meeting. The ordinance went largely unamended after public comments calling for additional regulation and oversight.
