Alzheimer’s Association Hosts Public Roundtable To Adapt to COVID-19

KSMU - Ozarks Public Radio

The Alzheimer’s Association will host an online roundtable discussion about the challenges of caring for those with Alzheimer’s Disease and other forms of dementia during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The event is open to the public. Experts will discuss caregiving problems and possible solutions. They will also talk about local resources for patients with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers during the pandemic. 

There’s also time for questions from the public. The discussion, which will include KSMU’s news director, Jennifer Moore, will be held the afternoon of June 4th from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m.   KSMU is currently airing its 10-part Sense of Community series, Dementia in the Ozarks.

Josh Conaway is a graduate of Missouri State University with a B.A. in Political Science and an M.A. in International Affairs. He works as a news reporter and announcer at KSMU.
