Starting Tuesday, June 2, all visitors entering a CoxHealth facility will be required to wear a face covering. That includes patients. Visitor restrictions remain in place.
According to the health system, exceptions include children seeking care who are under age two and anyone with pre-existing conditions that make breathing difficult.
A news release states that Cox leadership made the decision to keep patients and employees safe and limit the local spread of COVID-19.
