The City of Branson Finance Department will host a free class Thursday, Dec. 6 about how to sell alcohol responsibly.
Through the alcohol education class, the City of Branson hopes to minimize the risk of selling alcohol to underage and intoxicated buyers.
According to a press release from the city, the session is designed to meet training requirements in Branson, where businesses selling liquor must re-train their employees on alcohol sales every two years.
The session is free and expected to last about an hour and a half.
Servers and cashiers from Branson's neighboring communities are welcome to attend the session.
Thursday’s event will run from 9:30 am to noon at the City Hall Council Chambers in Branson. Participants are advised to arrive at least 15 minutes in advance to sign up.
