The Springfield Vegan Chef Challenge will be held during the month of May with a celebration of new vegan dishes across town. Businesses across the area will showcase special vegan menu items, giving everyone the opportunity to explore creative plant-based dishes crafted by talented local chefs.

The Missouri Prairie Foundation will host a native plant sale May 24 at Mother's Brewing Company with a variety of native wildflowers, grasses, sedges, vines, shrubs and trees supplied by two Grow Native! professional members.
The team at Bennett Spring State Park will host a program about turtle species of Missouri at the nature center on May 24 for all ages.
Roll for adventure—let the Dungeon Masters guide you through the process of building worlds, writing compelling stories and dangerous battles.

Stockton State Park will kick off summer with a concert from the Sucia Rosa Band in the East Campground. Bring a lawn chair or blanket. The event is free and open to the public. Food will be available for purchase and donations will be collected for the band.
Live From Downtown is a weekly summer concert series on Park Central Square that showcases local musicians and bands from all genres. This family-friendly event is free and open to the public.
Shows start at 7 pm every Saturday from the beginning of May through the end of September.
