The Parkinson's Group of the Ozarks will host Pound the Pavement for Parkinson's, a 5K and one mile run, tomorrow (11/18) in Springfield.  

The 22nd annual Cup ‘O Cheer Homes Tour and Cup ‘O Cheer Holiday Market are today (11/17) from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. to benefit the Ronald McDonald House of the Ozarks.  Tour homes decorated for the holidays.  

The FEZtival of Trees is today through Sunday (11/17-11/19) at the Shrine Mosque, 601 E. St. Louis in Springfield.  The event includes refreshments, visits with Santa, kids’ activities, tree raffles and more.  

Unity of Springfield will host the Unity Holiday Bazaartoday (11/17) from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. and tomorrow (11/18) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the church, 2214 E. Seminole in Springfield.  

The Missouri State Ice Hockey Bears will face Arizona State and the University of Arizona this weekend at Mediacom Ice Park, 635 E. Trafficway in Springfield.  

The ninth annual Ozarks BeerFest is tomorrow (11/18) from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Springfield Expo Center, 635 E. St. Louis in Springfield.  The BeerFest Eve Charity Poker Tournament starts tonight (11/17) at 5:30.  

A Fall Rummage Sale will be held today and tomorrow (11/17-11/18) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Wildcat Glades Conservation and Audubon Center, 201 Riviera Dr. in Joplin, to benefit education programs. 

The Antique Festival of the Ozarksis today through Sunday (11/17-11/19) at Best Western Inn of the Ozarks, 207 W. Van Buren in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  

It’s Geography Awareness Week, and the MSU Geography, Geology and Planning Department will present “Walks in Wales, Finding Roots in a Foreign Land” this afternoon (11/17) at 3:30 in Temple Hall, Room 345.

The Springfield Skeptics and Secular Student Alliance at MSU will host a screeningof “A Better Life” and a talk by its author/director, Chris Johnson, tonight (11/17) at 6 at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell in Springfield.  

A“Little House” Thanksgiving Storytime for infants through age six will be held this morning (11/17) at 10 at the Midtown Carnegie Branch Library, 397 E. Central in Springfield.  

Night at the Library, for families with children of all ages, will be held tonight (11/17) from 5:30 to 7 at the Schweitzer Brentwood Branch Library, 2214 Brentwood Blvd. in Springfield. The event is being held in celebration of the 50th anniversary of E.L. Konigsburg's "From the Mixed Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler," and will include a library scavenger hunt and a fort-building contest after the library closes. Kids and families can join forces to solve, find and create their way through a mysterious adventure. Fort-building materials and a snack will be provided. 

The Party for Parker, to raise money for KIF1A.org will be held tomorrow night (11/18) at 7 at Eagles Aerie of Springfield, 603 W. Plainview Rd., in Springfield.  The nonprofit foundation is dedicated to finding a cure for children living with KIF1A-related disorder.  The event will include a cash bar for drinks and food, 50/50 raffles, live music and dancing.  

The annual Downtown Tree Lighting starts at 6 tomorrow night (11/18) at Park Central Square.  There will be visits with Santa, hot chocolate, live music, including a performance by Dino Kartsonakis, the Jingle Bell March around the square, free ice skating and carriage rides and more.  

Lebanon’s Christmas Parade will start tomorrow morning (11/18) at 11 at Boswell Park and will go left on Jefferson to 6th St.   

Christmas on the Frisco is tomorrow (11/18) in Willard.  Events include Breakfast with Santa at 8 a.m. at Willard High School, a craft fair from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the high school, the Miss Frisco Pageant at 1:30 at Willard North Elementary, a parade at 5 followed by bonfires, food, s’mores an outdoor movie (“The Santa Clause”) and the lighting of the Frisco Trail.  

The 53rd annual Ozark Christmas Parade starts tomorrow (11/18) at 5:30 p.m.  The theme is “A Technicolor Christmas.”  

The MSU International Students Association will host the 39th annual International Banquet and Show tomorrow night (11/18) at 5 at the Plaster Student Union.  The event includes dinner and a talent and fashion show that display the various cultures represented at MSU.  Tickets are $15 for students and $20 for general admission.

Lebanon Comic Con is tomorrow and Sunday (11/18-11/19) at the Mills Center, 650 Mills Dr. in Lebanon.  There will be vendors, games, cosplay, a costume contest and more.  Food will be available for purchase.

The Saturday Afternoon at the Movies: Classic Couples Series at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell in Springfield, will feature the 1942 film, “Woman of the Year,” tomorrow afternoon (11/18) at 2.  

The Fite Family Piano Festival Fall Recital, featuring guest artist, Soyong Choi, will be held Sunday (11/19) at 3:30 in Ellis Recital Hall. 

The MSU Jazz Faculty Recital starts at 7:30 Sunday night (11/19) in Ellis Recital Hall.  

A Music and Arts Festivalwill be held Sunday (11/19) from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Durand Center, 303 N. Main in Harrison, Arkansas with live music, artists booths, food, kids’ activities and door prizes.
