Downtown Springfield Association

Quade is the new executive director of the Downtown Springfield Association.

Former lawmaker Crystal Quade will replace former DSA executive director Rusty Worley who recently retired after 19 years with the association.

Downtown Springfield Association will give out prizes to those who shop local for Small Business Saturday on November 29.

Rusty Worley has led the organization for nearly two decades.

The parade and a holiday market are centered around Park Central Square.

The money comes from the US Bank Foundation and is awarded by the Downtown Springfield Association through the ASCEND program.

The event will feature headliners Vic Vaughan and Souled Out as well as Honeybees out of Kansas City.

Taste of SoMo will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 22 on Park Central Square.

The parade starts at 2 p.m. at South and Elm.
