Emily Higgins has been producing The Mulberry Tree since 2009. She is a performing singer-songwriter who has released four collections of her compositions. She is a former member of the Communications Department staff for Springfield Public Schools and resides in the Missouri Ozarks.

Randy Hamm, professor of Music and director of Jazz Studies, joined the faculty of Missouri State University in 1989. He has performed at numerous regional, national, and international conferences including: the North American Saxophone Alliance, The World Saxophone Congress 2000, the International Association of Jazz Educators, the Jazz Educators Network National Conference, and The World Saxophone Congress 2012 in St. Andrews, Scotland. Randy has been featured as a composer, arranger and soloist on the Seabreeze, Arabesque, and Origin/OA2 record labels and in 2010 released two solo CD projects, “Yellow Cadenza” and “Abstract Thought”, on the Encore Music Presents (EMP) record label.

DJ Imperial has provided his turntable talents to a wide audience that includes party-goers in Miami, Tokyo, Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, San Fransisco and everywhere in between. Along with DJ'ing, his production has led to collaborate with artists such as Izmore (KC), SSLYBY (Springfield), Rise (NYC) and Joe Glass (Chicago). He brings his eclectic taste for groove and rhythms to the KSMU audience every Thursday night.
