The Springfield Conservation Nature Center has a new manager. Rudy Martinez replaces Linda Chorice who retired earlier this year.
Martinez is already a familiar face to nature center visitors. He began volunteering there in 1998 before being hired as a naturalist. And for the past 13 years, Martinez has worked as the nature center's assistant manager.
Martinez is the third person to manage the facility since it opened in 1988.
