New Healthcare Clinic To Open Soon In Bolivar

Mercy

Those who live in the Bolivar area will soon have more options for healthcare without having to drive to Springfield.  The Mercy Bolivar Multispecialty Clinic will open to patients on Monday, October 7.  A blessing and ribbon cutting for the facility were held Friday.

The 43,000-square-foot building is located at 3817 S. Springfield Ave. in Bolivar.  It replaces Mercy’s family medicine and urgent care clinic and, while Mercy will still provide family medicine and urgent care, the new clinic will offer more services than the old one.

Services will include behavioral health; cardiology; general surgery; cardiovascular; oncology; neurosurgery; audiology; ear, nose and throat; sports medicine; orthopedics; podiatry; gastroenterology; pain management; endocrinology and virtual care.

Hospital services at the new facility will include infusion; imaging:  CT, MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound and digital x-ray; and an outpatient surgery center.

Construction began on the new facility in fall of 2017.
