Absentee voting is underway for anyone who won’t be able to go to their regular polling place for the April 3 General Municipal Election.  The ballot in Greene County will include candidates and issues in eight cities, six school districts, one fire protection district and one community college district.

Absentee ballots can be voted in the clerk’s office, 1126 N. Boonville Monday through Friday from 8 to 5 until the day before the election.

Homebound or out of town voters may request an absentee ballot by mail, either handwritten or online.  They must be signed by the voters and received in the clerk’s office no later than 5 p.m. March 28.

Mailed ballots must be voted, notarized, returned by mail, and received in the clerk’s office before 7:00 p.m. on Election Day.

For more information, contact Greene County Clerk Shane Schoeller’s office at 868-4060 or click here.
