Greene County Commission Seeks Community Input

The Greene County Commission is asking the community for input on American Rescue Plan funding priorities.

The Commission will receive over 56 million dollars as a part of the American Rescue Plan Act. The US Treasury launched this phase of COVID relief to help with public health and economic challenges that people may have experienced during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The community is invited to visit the Greene County website, where a survey is located under the American Rescue plan tab. There, the public can identify the five priority areas where they believe the funds could be directed. People can choose from areas like mental health services, water and sewer, housing support, and more.

The survey will be open until September 17.
