MDC Closes Facilities To The Public To Prevent The Spread Of The Coronavirus

The Missouri Department of Conservation is re-closing several offices in southwest Missouri to the public as COVID-19 continues to spread.

As of Monday, December 14, these locations are closed to the public:  The Springfield Conservation Nature Center building, the MDC Southwest Regional Office, the MDC Andy Dalton Shooting Range and Outdoor Education Center, MDC Shepherd of the Hills Hatchery and Shepherd of the Hills Conservation Center building and the MDC Bennett Spring Hatchery.

Nature Center trails will remain open as well as trails near the Shepherd of the Hills Hatchery.

Buildings will still be staffed, and you can call facilities if you have any questions.
