Applicants Sought For Board Of Public Utilities In Springfield

City Utilities

There’s a vacancy on the Board of Public Utilities, and the City of Springfield is seeking qualified candidates to fill it.

Those who apply must have lived in Springfield for at least two years.

Members of the 11-member board are appointed by Springfield City Council to serve three-year terms.  The board establishes policies on how best to serve customers and sets the long-term direction for the utility as outlined in the City Charter, according to the City of Springfield.

To apply, go to springfieldmo.gov.  The deadline is October 16.
