Greene County Commissioner, Auditor, Recorder of Deeds Clinched by Republicans

It was a night of victory for Republicans in Greene County elections as they swept five local seats.

For Greene County Presiding Commissioner, Bob Dixon defeated his opponent Sara Lampe;  Dixon carried about 58 percent of the vote.

For Circuit Clerk in the county, Thomas Barr defeated Chris Prather.

And incumbent Shane Schoeller defeated Maggie Tuck to hold onto his seat of Greene County Clerk.

For Recorder of Deeds, Cheryl Dawson-Spaulding defeated her opponent, Democrat Jamille Jones.

And in the race for Greene County Auditor, Cindy Stein defeated Kai Sutton.

The County Collector and Prosecuting Attorney’s races were two Republicans who ran unopposed.   Dan Patterson will continue as Greene County’s Prosecutor and Leah Betts will be the Collector.
