In an effort to get more people to know their numbers, a local hospital is offering low-cost health screenings regardless of insurance.

The $32 screenings offered by CoxHealth will be held on June 28 and July 19 and will include blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar.  Additional lab screenings will be available for an additional fee.

After the screenings, results will be mailed to participants. Results of CoxHealth patients will also be available in their medical record for future reference.

The screenings will be held from 6 to 10 a.m. at Meyer Orthopedic & Rehabilitation Hospital in the Ozark room, and payment may be done by cash, check or credit card.

Registration is required by noon the day before the screening. To register, call 417-269-INFO.
