Longtime Assistant Principal, Coach, to Lead Ozark Junior High School

Ozark School District

Beginning this fall, Jim Hubbard will take over as Ozark Junior High principal. The Ozark School Board approved the hire during last Thursday’s board meeting.

Hubbard has served the last seven years as the high school’s assistant principal.

In a news release, Ozark School Board President Patty Quessenberry said of Hubbard, “He has served the district many years as a teacher, coach, administrator and most recently as the International Baccalaureate coordinator. After seeing Jim’s heartfelt emotions at the IB graduation on Tuesday, and the respect those students have shown to him, I believe he will be a great asset and leader to the Ozark Junior High School.”

Hubbard’s career in education spans 25 years. 17 of those have been with the Ozark School District, where he’s initiated the high school’s AP Calculus program, acted as originating coordinator for the International Baccalaureate program, acted as originating coordinator of the online classes program, and coached football and baseball for 10 years.
