Roxie & the Moon King will be on Studio Live on Friday, April 11, 2025 from 12-1 pm. Then join us at Mother's Brewing Company from 6-8 pm that night for Studio Live Social Hour.

When Michael Stanton Armstrong met Jenna English, it took a minute for them to get on the same page. But soon after, they combined their songwriting skills to become the folk duo Roxie & the Moon King.

Jessica Gray Balisle, a Springfield native, grew up listening to KSMU. When she's not wrangling operations and compliance issues, she co-hosts live music show Studio Live and produces arts and culture stories. Jessica plays bass in local band the Hook Knives. She and her husband Todd live with their two cats, Ellie and Jean-Ralphio, and way too many house plants.
