This week on S.T.E.M. Spots Dr. David Cornelison speaks with Missouri State University Professor Dr. Kevin R.  Evans. Dr. Evans is a professor of Geology in the department of Geography, Geology, and Planning.

Listen along as they discuss meteoric impacts. Some topics include where to find these meteoric impacts and their features, like shatter cones.

Dr. Evans discusses the large scale and the microscopic evidence of such an impact. He also reveals where three major meteoritic impacts are in the state of Missouri.
