Another Greene County Resident Dies Of COVID-19 Bringing the Death Count To 179

A man in his 80s is the latest Greene County resident to die of COVID-19.  There have been 25 deaths from the illness so far this month, and a total of 179 overall.

As of Tuesday morning, Greene County’s total number of cases was 12,861, and 4,933 were active.

There was a record 204 people hospitalized in Springfield with COVID-19, and 46 of them were in the ICU.  Eighty-one were Greene County residents.

There had been a 13 percent change in reported cases in the last week.
