CoxHealth and Community Partnership of the Ozarks are implementing a new software system that will allow several different parties to team up in getting services to those in need.

The software, called ServicePoint, will allow CoxHealth and CPO to refer patients and clients to other local agencies like Jordan Valley Community Health Center and the public health department.

Here’s how the new program works:  it will allow multiple agencies in our community to access similar patient information—while providing a snapshot of the community’s needs.

Officials say the goal is to help make people more self-sufficient and end the cycle of poverty.

According to a joint press release, the software is compliant with privacy laws and is grant funded by the Missouri Foundation for Health.

The software program is scheduled to launch later this year.
