Springfield Police Say Teen Missing, Could be in Danger

Springfield Police Department

The Springfield Police Department is asking for the public’s help in finding a missing teenager who they believe may be in danger.   Sixteen-year-old Jacquelyn Alway voluntarily left her home in Springfield on Aug. 6 and was last seen at the bus stop at Division and Johnston. Police say additional details that have developed during the investigation have led the SPD to ask for public assistance in this search. It is believed that Alway could be in the company of an adult male, and she may also leave the state.

Alway is approximately 5 feet 7 inches, 160 pounds, with mostly blonde hair (brown roots) and brown eyes. She also wears black thick-framed glasses.

Anyone with information related to Alway’s whereabouts should immediately call 911 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency, or call the Springfield Police Department at 417-864-1810.
