City Utilities wants to know what you think about proposed route changes to its transit system. The company is holding two meetings to talk about the possible changes and answer any questions the public might have. They also hope to receive feedback.
The proposed changes would impact 15 routes and would move some bus stops a few blocks from where they are now. Some routes would increase on certain days, especially Saturdays.
The changes are being proposed, in part, because of the new transit station under construction in Springfield. It’s scheduled to open in April.
Meetings are planned Tuesday (10/6) at the Library Center and Thursday (10/8) at the Library Station from 4 to 6 pm.
