Save Timmons Temple got some good news this week.  The fund to raise money to renovate the historic church will receive what the committee is calling “a substantial donation” from Great Southern Bank for renovation of the building’s roof.

The native Ozark rock structure, which was located at 934 E. Webster, was moved next to its new home in Silver Springs Park last week while a foundation is poured for it.

The preservation effort has raised more than $145,000 toward the $250,000 goal for the church relocation and remodel.  To make a donation, click here.
