COVID-19 Cases In Joplin Are On The Rise

Springfield-Greene County Health Department

The number of COVID-19 cases in Joplin continues to increase.

The Joplin Health Department announced five new cases of the illness Wednesday.  That brings the total number of cases in the city to 29.

Two of the new cases are contacts of a previously known case. One is a person who recently traveled in the United States, and the other two cases are believed to be community acquired, according to the health Department.
