Oxford Hospice, along with other area organizations, is hosting a holiday grief workshop tonight (11/19) from 6 to 8 in Springfield in the College Room at High Street Baptist Church.  KSMU’s Michele Skalicky talked with bereavement counselors, Renee Jenkins and Mitch Fridley, from Oxford about dealing with grief this time of year.

Registration for the workshop is recommended but not required.  Learn more about the event by calling 883-7500, extension 3235.

Michele Skalicky has worked at KSMU since the station occupied the old white house at National and Grand. She enjoys working on both the announcing side and in news and has been the recipient of statewide and national awards for news reporting. She likes to tell stories that make a difference. Michele enjoys outdoor activities, including hiking, camping and leisurely kayaking.
