Spring's brightly colored migrants are arriving in Missouri, the colors echoing the season's wildflowers. Busiek has super habitat for a wide variety of species.

Combining birding and fellowship, we are hopeful that we will celebrate the arrival of Bobolinks to Palmetto with a drive out to see the species, followed by optional refreshments at the One 2 Five Taproom in Rogersville.

Busiek State Forest is GOAS's go to destination during peak migration, yielding amazing numbers of migrants just outside Springfield's door step. This mid-week experience promises to avoid the big weekend crowds! Bring your lawn chair and join the group in our first official “Big Sit” bird watch at the peak of migration!
