Springfield Mid-America Singers, under the direction of Dr. Tom Matrone, will present their fall concert on Sunday, October 26 at 3:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.

This free concert will feature the Requiem in D minor, K. 626, a Requiem Mass, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (1756–1791). It is one of the most famous pieces of classical music and one of the most mysterious. Mozart began composing the Requiem in Vienna in late 1791, but it was still unfinished at his death on December 5th the same year. Other composers filled in the rest and composed additional movements.
