Halloween Hustle 2024
Expect no tricks, but lots of treats at the Halloween Hustle race to benefit Harmony House.
The Halloween Hustle is a local race presented by City Utilities with 100% of proceeds benefiting Harmony House. The race starts and ends at City Utilities’ main office, 301 East Central Street. This relatively flat race route winds through historic mid-town Springfield—with candy for your little ghosts and goblins on every corner. An event for kids of all ages—runners are encouraged get in the holiday spirit and wear their Halloween costumes. As one of the longest running 5k’s in the Springfield community, this has become a Halloween tradition for many families year after year.
The Halloween Hustle benefits Harmony House—Springfield’s only domestic violence shelter. Every penny raised from the Halloween Hustle will support Harmony House and the work they do every day providing shelter, advocacy, and education to survivors of domestic abuse. Harmony House provides a safe, warm place for local survivors of domestic abuse and their children giving them a chance escape abuse and access to resources such as food, clothing, court advocacy, life skills classes and more.
