Events this Week Offer Chance to Apply for Jobs

A hiring event this week in Springfield will feature 40 employers who are actively seeking applicants for open positions.  The Ozark Region Workforce Development Board and the Missouri Job Center will host the event at their Springfield location Thursday from 1 to 4. 

Some examples of positions that people can apply for are welder, loan processor, registered nurse and licensed nurse, customer care representative, 911 telecommunicator, art museum security officer and more. 

Applicants should dress appropriately and take up-to-date resume copies and references.

The Missouri Job Center’s Branson location will host a hiring event Thursday from 10 to 1 for a variety of positions at Welk Resorts. 

The job center’s Mobile Career Center will help JP Morgan Chase with a hiring event at 303 Republic Rd. Thursday from 3 to 6, and the Springfield location will hold a hiring event Friday from 9 to 2 for Sperry Rail Service.
