Ozark Mule Days is being held through Sunday (9/5) at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds with various events and shows.  

Guided tours of the Shepherd of the Hills Hatchery in Branson will be held Friday (9/3) at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m.  Tours last about 30 minutes.  

The Springfield-Greene County Library presents Storytime at Doling Park Friday morning (9/3) at 10 for infants to age six. Meet in the large pavilion behind the Doling Family Center.  

The Missouri Department of Conservation will present the online program, “Fishing Skills: Catfish Crazy,” Friday afternoon (9/3) at 1 online. Registration is required.  

First Friday Art Walk is Friday night (9/3) from 6 to 10 in several downtown Springfield venues. 

The Free Family Movie Night at the Drive-In featuring Shrek 2 will be held Friday and Saturday night (9/3-9/4) at 7:45 at Fred G. Hughes Stadium at Missouri Southern State University in Joplin.  

The Trading Hands Kids Sale is Friday and Saturday (9/3-9/4) at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds.  

“Conservation in the Parks: A Walk in the Trees,” will be held Saturday (9/4) at 3 at the Shoal Creek Conservation Education Center in Joplin.  No registration is needed.  

A graphic novel book discussion will be held Saturday morning (9/4) at 10 for adults at the Library Station.  

The Springfield-Greene County Library presents FilmStubsat 2 p.m. Saturday (9/4) online.  It’s a discussion of the monthly cult-classic film selection.  Registration is required.  

The exhibit,“Making Local Memories: Children’s Television in the Ozarks,”is at the History Museum on the Square in Springfield through October 17.  

BARK Ranger is happening this weekend at George Washington Carver National Monument in Diamond.  Take your dog to walk at the park Saturday or Sunday (9/4-9/5) from 10 a.m. to noon, and stop by a pop-up tent to learn the BARK Ranger rules and have your pup sworn in as an official BARK ranger.  

The Missouri State University women’s soccer team will host Louisiana Tech Sunday afternoon (9/5) at 1 at Allison South Stadium.  Learn more here.
