The Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will hold a blood drive today (3/16) in honor of retired Springfield police officer, Aaron Pearson. Pearson was shot while on duty in January 2015, and he required 20 units of blood during surgeries to save his life. The drive will be held from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Thomson Donor Center, 220 W.
