Krewe of Krazo

Eureka Gras continues this weekend in Eureka Springs, Arkansas.  The Eureka Gras Light & Sound Parade starts tomorrow night (2/3) at 6 downtown.  The Black Light Ball is tomorrow night at 7 at Chelsea's Corner Cafe & Bar.  Rod McGuire, president of the Krewe of Krazo, talks about Eureka Gras in an interview with KSMU. 

The Central High School Kiltie Drum and Bugle Corps Annual Chili Supper and Silent Auction will be held tonight (2/2) from 6 to 9 in the Central High School Commons, 423 E. Central.  The cost for all-you-can-eat hot dogs and chili is $7 for adults and $5 for kids 4 to 11. 

First Friday Art Walk is tonight (2/2) from 6 to 10 at 19 locations in downtown Springfield. 

The sixth annual Midwest Regional Beer, Wine, Cheese and Chocolate Festival will be held tomorrow (2/3) at the Ozark Empire Fairgrounds E-Plex, 3001 N. Grant.  There will be live music, educational seminars, live cooking demonstrations and tastings.

The Springfield-Greene County Library invites you to make wire and bead bookmarks during First Friday Art Walk tonight (2/2) from 6 to 9 at the Park Central Library on Park Central Square in Springfield.  Materials will be provided.

The Missouri State Ice Hockey Bears will play at home this weekend at Mediacom Ice Park, 635 E. Trafficway. 

The Library Station, 2535 N. Kansas Expressway in Springfield, will host Anime Night for kids in 6th through 12th grade tonight (2/2) from 6 to 8. 

Family Movie Night at the Library is tonight (2/2) at 6:30 at the Library Center, 4653 S. Campbell in Springfield.  Kids can make magic wands and chocolate frogs and write letters to Hogwarts while watching “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone,” rated PG. 

The 2018 Carden International Circus is at JQH Arena today through Sunday (2/2-2/4). 

A symposium to celebrate the opening of “Soul of a Nation:  Art in the Age of Black Power” at the Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art in Bentonville, AR will be held tomorrow (2/3) from 9:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Brick City Gallery, 215 W. Mill in Springfield.  Exhibition artists and curators will take part in conversations and reflect on art, politics, music and community in the age of Black Power. 

Zooper Bowl will be held tomorrow and Sunday (2/3-2/4) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Dickerson Park Zoo, 1401 W. Norton Rd. in Springfield.  Anyone who takes four non-perishable food items to the zoo will receive half off admission. 

“The Mystery Hour” will tape tomorrow night (2/3) at 7:30 at the Gillioz Theatre, 325 Park Central East in downtown Springfield.  Tickets are $12 and can be purchased at the door.
