It’s going to be a beautiful weekend—perfect weather to be outside. One way to enjoy the fall temperatures is to browse the 42nd annual Ozark Arts and Crafts Show at Finley River Park.
The event’s coordinator, Linda Inman, says the show will feature 335 arts and crafts vendors this year. As she talked with me on her cell phone as she walked around the site, Inman shared just a few of the many items that will be for sale.
"It's such an array. There is a man that makes drums, and it's going to be a good booth, and we've got people that make--well, we've got Halloween, Christmas, all kinds of art work. There's so many here that it's hard to say," she said.
She said the show covers much of Finley River Park. And, like any fall festival, there will be food. Inman say they try to offer out-of-the-ordinary fare. She listed a few dishes that will be available.
"We have barbecue. We have homemade root beer. We've got the man that has buffalo burgers and buffalo chili and we've got a lady from--I can't remember what country she's from--but the thing that she makes, everybody's always just crowded around her booth, and corn dogs. We have woks, ovens, pizzas that, you know, you cook it on an open fire--quite a few things. And it's all out here on one row where everyone can sit out and visit," she said.
