The Community Foundation of the Ozarks commissioned Habitat Communication & Culture to conduct the study.

Missouri State University won’t say exactly how much money is involved but announced on Friday that a new “eight-figure” donation by the C.W. Titus Foundation is the “largest one-time gift” in the university’s history.

Jordan Valley Community Health Center, Community Partnership of the Ozarks, Great Circle and the Springfield Center for Dyslexia and Learning received funding as part of a grant program intended to address “red flags” in the regularly-issued Community Focus Reports covering the Springfield area.

The Community Foundation of the Ozarks announced this week that it awarded $350,000 to 38 Ozarks nonprofit agencies on behalf of the Jeannette L. Musgrave Foundation. Most of the funding goes towards causes benefiting children.

The new Thomas Kachel Fountain now sprays its misty jets high into the air. Located at the bottom of the hill by the Springfield Botanical Center, the big new water feature sparkles near Lake Drummond and the Hosta Garden at Close Memorial Park.
