The event runs 11 A.M. to 2 P.M. The 10,000 square foot inclusive playground was awarded National Demonstration Site status for its mix of inclusive equipment designed to maximize childhood engagement and development.

Grant money is making many of the projects possible, including in Willard.

By May 2024, Willard expects to have built one of the largest inclusive playgrounds in the area, complete with ramps, surfaces and play equipment that anyone can use — regardless of disability status.

Algerian Hart was named to the role in late June.
