Last fall, Springfield City Council voted to spend $256,000 in taxpayer funds on a housing study. The idea is to improve Springfield neighborhoods and promote homeownership.

Back in November, Springfield City Council voted to spend $256,000 for a housing study to identify needs and priorities. Now the city is holding a community meeting about the plan.

Springfield is continuing to put taxpayer money and other funds toward addressing affordable housing issues.
