Launched in 1989, the Magellan spacecraft mapped most of the surface of Venus over six cycles. The spacecraft studied Venus from August 1990 until October 1994, when it was intentionally plunged into the planet. Recently, Dr. Robert Herrick from the University of Alaska compared mappings from different cycles and found an unexpected change.
Join us this week as Mike explores the new findings from old data on the scorching planet, Venus.
