Missouriy State University
Linnea Iantria of the Department of Geography, Geology and Planning at Missouri State University

Linnea Iantria is passionate about travel, and doing it the right way.

As a Senior Instructor in the Department of Geography, Geology and Planning at Missouri State University, she is responsible for teaching courses in the Geotourism minor, enabling students to broaden their horizons in meshing tourism efforts with local populations.

She also works closely with communities that wish to develop plans for tourism that include elements from Geotourism.   The word she uses to explain the idea of Geotourism is “holistic”, which captures the goal of incorporating the complete character of a place into the experiences of visitors to its location

Dr. David Cornelison has been working as an educator and scientist in Arizona and Missouri universities for the last 32 years. From 2010-2018, he was the head of the Department of Physics, Astronomy and Materials Science at Missouri State University. His research interests lie at the intersection of experimental condensed-matter physics and astrophysics, while his educational efforts have focused on outreach to the K-12 school system. Most of all, he believes in curiosity-driven learning in the sciences and all other fields.
