Although the skies this afternoon were cloudy, the hot, dry weather is expected to continue. KSMU’s Brittany Donnellan has details.

While there is a slight chance for scattered showers on Thursday, National Weather Service meteorologist Andy Foster says most areas will see very little rain, if any at all.

“Other than some minor fluctuations in temperatures and maybe a chance or two of showers, overall, the dry weather, worsening drought and the high temperatures will continue.”

Foster says the Ozarks can expect triple digit temperatures to continue for at least the next ten days.
