Princeton Reviews list of the most environmentally responsible schools in the United States has been released. More than 2000 schools were considered for inclusion on the annual "Guide to 399 Green Colleges," and Drury University and Missouri State University were chosen.
Drury points to several efforts toward sustainability it's made, including a commitment to transitioning all exterior campus lighting to LED; being designated as a Tree Campus USA; native landscape restoration, water bottle filling staions and high efficiency equipment upgrades.
Sustainability efforts at MSU include hydration stations across campus, a community garden, a student sustainability fund, a sustainability minor, a solar power system and recycling.
