The Taney County Health Department Board is encouraging citizens to wear masks.  It unanimously passed a resolution Friday in support of universal masking in all indoor public spaces, according to a news release. The decision comes after the number of positive cases of COVID-19 more than tripled from May 25 to June 25.

TCHD director, Lisa Marshall, says masks have been shown to decrease the risk of unintentionally passing COVID-19 to another person.
