The Missouri Department of Conservation is conducting a new research project to help improve wild turkey management in the state.  And biologists are asking turkey hunters in Missouri to save feathers from turkeys they harvest this fall to share with them for use in the project.

Those who choose to participate will be sent materials needed to submit feathers, including a postage-paid envelope, as well as specific instructions.

Turkey hunters can find more information at mdc.mo.gov/turkeyfeathers.
