Missouri Sets Record For One Day COVID Cases Thursday

As COVID-19 cases soar across the country, Missouri is seeing high numbers of positive cases, too.

 

On Thursday, the state reported 4,603 new COVID-19 cases since the day before, bringing the total number of cases in Missouri to 225,371.

 

The state’s positivity rate over the past seven days was 40.8 percent.

 

Missouri had 2,248 people in its hospitals with COVID-19.  Of those, 518 were in the ICU, and 248 were on ventilators.

 

To date, 3,339 Missourians have died of COVID-19, and, as of Thursday, 63 of those deaths had been in the last week.
