Joplin Health Department Reports Two More COVID-19 Deaths

Two more people have died in Joplin from COVID-19.  The virus was a significant condition contributing to the deaths, according to the Joplin Health Department.  The latest deaths were a 71-year-old man and a 73-year-old man.

There have been 28 deaths due to COVID-19 in Joplin.

The health department reminds people to take steps to prevent the spread of the illness, including wearing a face covering, social distancing, washing hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, covering coughs or sneezes, cleaning frequently touched objects and surfaces and staying home if you’re sick.
