Voters in Christian County Decide a Few Local Races

It was a Republican sweep in Christian County Tuesday.  Here are local election results from that county:

Republican Jennifer Growcock ran unopposed in the race for circuit judge. 

Republican Lynn Morris defeated Democrat Jim Billedo for representative of House District 140 with 76 percent of the vote.

Republican Jered Taylor ran unopposed for representative of House District 139. 

Another race that featured only one candidate was House District 138, which was won by Republican Don Phillips. 

Republican Ralph Phillips defeated Democrat Sue Ann Childers with 72 percent of the vote in the race for Christian County Eastern District Commissioner. 

Republican Hosea Bilyeu ran unopposed in the race for Christian County Western District Commissioner. 

Republican Karen Matthews ran unopposed for Christian County Commissioner. 

The Christian County coroner race winner is Mandi Yoder-Armitage, a Republican who ran unopposed. 

Republican Brad Cole kept his seat as Christian County sheriff, running unopposed. 

Republican Ken Davis ran unopposed for Christian County public administrator. 

Republican Danny Gray ran unopposed for Christian County assessor.
