Voting Information for February 6th Election

Greene County Clerk Richard Struckhoff has information on the February 6th election. KSMU's Missy Shelton reports.

When you head to the polls tomorrow, you may notice that your polling place doesn't have the touch-screen voting machines that were present in every polling place last November.

Greene County Clerk Richard Struckhoff explains why those who require touch screen voting machines will need to vote at the county courthouse.

By re-directing special needs voters to the courthouse, Struckhoff says it will require a little extra work on the part of poll workers.

Only voters in Springfield and the school districts for Logan Rogersville and Fair Grove will go to the polls tomorrow.

Springfield voters will participate in primary elections for city council. Voters in Logan Rogersville and Fair Grove will decide school bond issues.

Struckhoff says he's anticipating low voter turnout.

And Struckhoff has a note of clarification for Logan-Rogersville voters. There are THREE polling places: Summit Church, Logan-Rogersville Middle School and River of Life Church.
